Private Shopping Files: How to Get One of Philly’s Coolest Boutiques All to Yourself

We’ve all been there, shuffling out of a fitting room in a half-zipped dress, jeans around your ankles, craning your neck to find your friend while other shoppers pretend not to notice your granny panties. Enter: private shopping, which sounds intimidating until you realize that it’s actually a super-efficient way to shop. No politely picking your way among other customers, no feeling awkward about coming out in an Ivan Grundahl concoction and admitting you have no clue how it’s actually supposed to be worn. (We’ve all been there.)

Thankfully,  Erdon has just introduced private shopping appointments in its Old City location. As of today, the Philly boutique won’t be open to the public on Mondays, but they’ll be taking private appointments all day. Call the store to reserve a solo shopping appointment; give at least 48 hours notice. “It will give exclusive attention to our clients who want one-on-one,” said shop owner Donna Sandoz in an email. Which means extra help finding sizes and curating looks, and less time spent peering out of a fitting room door.

Need an Erdon fix on a Monday? The store’s Moorestown Mall location is open from 10am to 9pm.
