Video: ‘All Over It’ Hilariously Explores the Fishtown’s Creative Class

The web series was shot in and around Poplar and Fishtown in 2012.

There’s a new web series that hilariously delves deep into the lives of those in Fishtown’s creative class. “All Over It” was shot in Philly in 2012 at Girard Hall at 6th and Girard Avenue and also Kung Fu Necktie near Front and Girard. You’ll notice the El features prominently in one of the scenes above.

Here’s what Ted Pauly, one of the writer/directors of the show, told Philly.com about how real it got while shooting at Girard Hall, the site of a real life artist collective:

Pauly describes the then-residents of Girard Hall as “cooler, younger…and more actualized versions of the show’s concept.”

The theme music is by Philly band Cheers Elephant, the opening of the show is narrated by H. Jon Benjamin (who also plays the building manager in Ep. 1) and it was shot in Philly by a local crew. It has awesome written all over it.
