16 Indie Bridal Brands You Should Have on Your Radar

You know how we feel about Free People’s bridal collection.

Despite all of the unique bridal brands I’ve come to know and love during my time here at PW, I’ve always imagined myself as a Vera Wang bride. Her gorgeous designs are the ones I most often gravitate towards, and I have quite a few photos of her luscious ballgowns stored away on my computer for future reference.

More recently, though, I’ve started to broaden my horizons a bit—lesser-known bridal labels are getting more and more attention nowadays, and it makes you realize just how many options (beyond the names we all recongize) there are to choose from.

So today I thought I’d introduce you to a batch of indie bridal brands that are just about perfect for any bride-to-be who’s looking for something a bit nontraditional. Whether you’re a minimalist, avant-garde, free-spirited or anti-princess bride, there’s a designer on this list for you (Delphine Manivet and Houghton are now on my radar).

You’ll also notice the list wraps up with one of our favorite boho brands: Free People. If you haven’t already, check out the label’s bridal collection here.
