The fine people at the Renaissance Aruba Resort & Casino looked around recently, and realized they had quite a few things to celebrate.
For starters, on Tuesday of this week, it was National Flamingo Day. The resort is also set to launch a flamingo-inspired, honeymoon-perfect romance package (the very pro-commitment monogamous birds mate for life)—and they just so happen to have a totally-in-love pair of ’em that live right there at the resort. And so, they did the only thing they could do, obviously: They got them hitched!
Allie and Noah, the aforementioned longtime flamingo couple, tied the knot this week right on the resort’s 40-acre private island, in full bride-and-groom regalia, and complete with a reception that featured pink cocktails and cupcakes. (Also, as against human names as I am for dogs, I would like to formally declare that I am very much for human names for flamingos.) Behold:
