When it comes to wedding-day desserts, there are few baked goods more versatile than the donut. Whether it be for a dessert spread (at your reception or any one of the affairs leading up to it), as a sweet breakfast for your girls the morning-of, packaged up as favors for your guests or tiered up into a makeshift cake, donuts have a place in every couple’s journey to the alter—and we have been seeing them more and more.

Here in Philly, we’re lucky to have quite a few places—not including your usual Krispy Kreme and Dunkin Donuts—to pop into for a really good donut. Take a look at our roundup below to see if your favorite made the list.

Beiler’s Donuts and Salads
Where: Reading Terminal Market, Center City
What: This Pennsylvania Dutch bakery fills it’s case each day with donuts in 40 different varieties (so you know there’s something that’ll please each one of your guests!). Treat your party to flavors like apple cider and peanut butter creme, plus scoop up a few of their famous fruit fritters.

Federal Donuts
Where: Multiple Philly locations
What: It’s no secret that Philadelphians love Michael Solomonov’s donut/fried chicken joint and for good reason: Both their fresh hot donuts (in flavors like vanilla spice and strawberry lavender) and their more fancy options (blueberry mascarpone and grapefruit brulee, among them) are seriously delicious. You can easily pre-order donuts for your Big Day through their website, too—or stop by to talk to them about a donut wedding cake.

Frangelli’s Bakery
Where: 847 West Ritner Street, South Philly
What: All of the donuts at this family-owned bakery are hand pumped to order, which is how they’ve been doing things since opening in 1947. From the classic glazed, chocolate frosted and jelly donuts to Frangelli’s famous donut-cannoli hybrid, your guests will be happily chowing down on these holey creations.

Haegele’s Bakery
Where: 4164 Barnett Street, Northeast Philly
What: With over 80 years of business under their belts, this family-run bakery has become a go-to for traditional German pastries. You’ll want to head here for their yummy cream-filled donuts and powdered jelly donuts (though do yourself a favor and line up for their Fastnacht donuts, which are sold for two days only in March).

Suzy Jo Donuts
Where: 1380 Skippack Pike, Blue Bell
What: This popular suburban spot is cranking out plenty of mouth-watering flavors, all of which will add an indulgent touch to your celebration. Coconut custard, powdered Bavarian cream and peanut butter fluff are just a few of the tempting options you can choose from.
