Over 65,000 people roamed Walnut Street (from Broad to 19th) for the annual Rittenhouse Row Spring Festival on Saturday, May 21, 2011. Besides admiring the fleet of 2011 Infiniti cars, attendees also sampled food, wine and beer from various venues, while enjoying a fashion show, live entertainment and cocktail demonstrations. At the Trust Venue, Wilhelmina models strutted down the runway in red dresses designed by Philadelphia University fashion students for the American Heart Association's Go Red For Women Preview Party. Sponsored nationally by Macy’s and Merck and locally by Main Line Health, the event, held on May 20, 2011, pulled in over $850,000 for heart disease and stroke research. Photography by Daniel Burke.

The 13th Annual Evening in the Yard Gala was held at Urban Outfitters at the Navy Yard on Friday, May 20, 2011. This gala was held to benefit the free programs and services for people affected by cancer at the Cancer Support Community of Philadelphia.
