The FBI and the Philadelphia Police Department are looking for the woman seen here, the suspect in a string of bank robberies in Northeast Philadelphia. According to the FBI, she was wearing head-to-toe black Muslim garb in all of the incidents.

She first struck Santander Bank at 9856 Bustleton Avenue on June 9th. Then she hit PNC Bank at 12300 Academy Road on June 16th. Then she took a break before robbing the Citizens Bank at 3200 Red Lion Road on July 7th and then the Citizens Bank at 10650 Bustleton Avenue just two days later, Thursday, July 9th.

“We’ve had incidents in the past where we’ve had men wearing full burqas,” says Philadelphia FBI spokesperson J.J. Klaver. “But in this case, they’ve heard her speak, and we’re confident this is actually a woman.”

At the last robbery, the woman handed a demand note to the teller and got away with an undisclosed amount of cash, fleeing in a newer dark-colored Nissan Murano or Rogue.

She is described by the FBI as follows: “Black female, 5’5″-5’7″, wearing all black Muslim clothing covered from head to toe.”

The FBI has surveillance footage and photos of her, but none of it is very helpful in identifying her due to her attire, says Klaver.
