Hacker Takes Down Reading Terminal Website

What could be more fun than defeating the security of a produce stand?

NBC 10 reports: “The website for the popular Reading Terminal Market in downtown Philadelphia has been hacked at the apparent fingertips of a teenager. Those who visit ReadingTerminalMarket.org on Friday morning were greeted by a black screen with a spinning logo for the hacker 1337MiR.”

And really, what budding hacker could resist the thrill of breaching the online security of a place people go to buy their turnips! Perhaps next, the hacker 1337MiR will summon up the knowledge, skills, and fortitude to conduct a denial-of-service attack on a nursing home.
