Prosecutors Seek Anonymous Jury for Ligambi Mob Case

A pretrial list of evidence against Joseph “Uncle Joe” Ligambi and 10 associates includes family photo albums and home video from a graduation party, a wedding, and prison visits. Prosecutors have recently filed a motion seeking an anonymous jury for the looming trial of Ligambi and his associates, who face racketeering charges. The defense wants references of the mob’s violent history tossed from the 52-charge indictment. A judge is expected to rule on both issues following an August 9th hearing. [Inquirer]
