Dock Street’s Beer Ain’t Nuthin’ to Funk With gets tapped on Wednesday.

Wu Tang Clan’s own Inspectah Deck will be on hand at Dock Street Brewery this Wednesday, November 4th as the West Philadelphia brewery releases Beer Ain’t Nothing To Funk With. This is the first beer in brewer Vince Desrosiers’ series of beers inspired by music he likes. The Wu Tang inspired brew has been aging for six months in wine barrels while Wu Tang Clan has been playing 24-hours a day next to the cask.

Inspectah Deck will be at the brewery for photos, beers, and conversation starting at 5 p.m. DJ Sonny James will be spinning Wu Tang hits while the beer pours from the taps. The 1980’s Kung Fu flick (and inspiration behind the Wu Tang Clan’s name) Shaolin and Wu Tang will be shown beginning at 7pm.

Dock Street Beer Ain’t Nothing To Funk With will be available on tap and in 12-ounce bottles to go. There will be no growler fills and a two-bottle limit per person.

There will also be the chance to see if all this Wu Tang has had an effect on the beer as there will be a “non-Wu Tang Clan-infused” version of the beer to taste.
