Agent Dale Cooper loved his donuts

The work of filmmaker and artist David Lynch is being shown at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts. Lynch, who is known for films like Blue Velvet, Eraserhead, Mulholland Drive and the TV show “Twin Peaks,” studied painting at PAFA in the late sixties and once said, “I had my first thrilling thought in Philadelphia.” Which we take as a compliment, even if it is a twisted one.

As part of the PAFA’s Lynch retrospective, “The Unified Field” which begins Saturday, September 13th, the academy asked Federal Donuts to create donuts for the opening reception. Not only has FedNuts done that, but they will also offer the donuts at their storefronts starting on the 13th.

Lynch, whose work has often featured a fondness for sweets, and in the case of Twin Peaks’ agent Dale Cooper, a coffee and donut obsession, will be honored with following offerings from Federal Donuts:

  • Good Coffee
  • Cherry Pie
  • Blue Velvet
  • Chocolate Malted

As for what they taste like, you’ll have to get yourself to Federal Donuts to try for yourself. The donuts are $2 each or $20 per dozen.
