Philly Beer Week: Saturday Picks

Fishtown: Frankford Avenue wil be shut down between Girard and Shackamaxon between noon and 8 p.m. for Festivale, a block party that will feature food, DJs, a dunk tank and of course beer from Frankford Hall, Fette Sau and Johnny Brenda’s.

Around the corner at Sancho Pistola’s, it’s ReAnimator coffee and coffee beers brewed by local homebrewers. $30 gets you Sancho’s brunch and the coffee beers.

Pennsport: To us, the Industry and day-drinking go hand-in-hand. And when you add rare Allagash beers (including a ginger double-wit) to the mix, well that sounds like great brunch.

Manayunk: Old Eagle Tavern is throwing a true Maryland Crab Fest all day. Look for crab soup, crab cakes, steamed crabs and more crabby delights. All draft and bottle beers from Maryland breweries will be $1 off all day and night

Bucks County: Neshaminy Creek Brewing turns two and celebrates with beer, fun and music. Fun starts at noon, the music at 2:30. It’s a an impressive beer list for the still young brewery and it will be the first time cans of Neshaminy beers will be available.
