Local Restaurants Hit by Flooding

With the record-setting rainfall swelling the banks of the Schuylkill River and other creeks and streams, some restaurants are bailing water today.
In East Falls, In Riva has announced it is going to be closed today and Avalon Bistro owner John Brandt-Lee tweeted that his Downingtown restaurant “took a hard hit” as the Brandywine overflowed its banks.
No word yet from the often flooded Manayunk Brewery and Restaurant off of Main Street in Manayunk but Mad River is definitely surrounded by water.
UPDATE: Manayunk Brewery wasn’t spared.
