Show Us Your Tots: The Tot Cart Is Turning One

The first year of business for any restaurant can be brutal. And that’s why we like to celebrate 1st birthdays whenever we can.

To wit, the Tot Cart–Philly’s favorite tater-tot-based mobile lunch option–is turning one on Saturday, March 15 and they’re celebrating with cheap tots, free cake and a party at Yard’s Brewery. From noon to 7pm, the Tot Cart will be knocking a dollar off the price of all their tots as well as rolling out a new St. Patrick’s Day-inspired tot creation (I’m guessing corned beef brisket, but what do I know?). Yards will be offering prizes to a few lucky customers, as well as providing beer for the masses. Spot Burger will be on hand to augment the fried potato goodness with cheeseburgers, and at 3pm Wonderland Cakes will be there the cut and serve a 1st birthday cake for the Tot Cart, which they will then generously share with everyone on hand.

So, beer, tater tots, cheeseburgers and free cake. How can you beat that?
