Beer Accessories Now At Pinot

If you’ve already purchased every wine goodie there is to buy at Pinot since it opened five years ago, you now have a great excuse to return: Beer stuff! Just in time for Philly Beer Week, Pinot is now selling accessories for the beer lover. About half of the as-of-now limited stock comprises cool gadgets for the tailgater who has everything: Double-walled beer mugs that keep your hand from touching the liquid and be-handled six-pack carriers designed to be stored in the freezer until you’re ready to keep your beer frosty.

But the other half is decidedly for the quaffer who likes her drinking paraphernalia to double as conversation pieces: Hand-painted Phillies shaker glasses, Oenophilia pilsner glasses that retail for $10, and vintage beer-serving trays bought from a collector.

So why the inclusion of beer gadgets into a wine store? Isn’t it obvious?

Owner Dan Soskin: “Philly’s such a beer town, how could I not? Plus, I like beer.”
