Herremans Suffers Ankle Injury, Will Have MRI

Another blow for an already injury-riddled offensive line.

Todd Herremans was forced to the sidelines late in the first quarter with what Andy Reid called an ankle tendon strain. He’ll have an MRI on Tuesday morning.

The veteran tackle was pulling on a LeSean McCoy run to the left side, was tripped and landed awkwardly. He was assisted off the field and after a brief inspection on the trainers table, was carted into the locker room.

Howard Mudd‘s offensive line is already in shambles, missing starters Jason Peters (Achilles), Jason Kelce (ACL) and Danny Watkins (ankle). At the time Herremans left, Michael Vick had already been sacked three times. That numbers increased to seven.

Demetress Bell replaced Herremans at right tackle.
