Amy Gutmann: Glamour Gal

Amy GutmannPenn President Dr. Amy Gutmann was named one of Glamour magazine’s “Women of the Year,” an honor bestowed upon “inspirational women who have made unprecedented contributions to the worlds of entertainment, business, sports, fashion, philanthropy, science/medicine, education and politics.” The issue hits newsstands November 13th and features 20 other women who fit Glamour’s criteria. Others include fellow Ivy League presidents Drew Faust of Harvard University, Shirley Tilghman of Princeton, and Brown’s Ruth Simmons; actress Jennifer Garner and poet Toni Morrison were also included. Yes, that’s Jennifer Garner.
