Curry, who had a career year in 2014 with nine sacks, had a relative down year in 2015. He recorded 3.5 sacks in 16 games in a reduced role, seeing just 35.3 percent of the Eagles’ defensive snaps because of a crowded front seven.
Since being drafted in the second round of the 2012 NFL Draft, Curry has piled up 16.5 sacks and 52 tackles in 52 games over four seasons.
Curry is expected to see a jump both in playing time and production in Jim Schwartz‘s 4-3 defense.
He was set to become an unrestricted free agent in March.
Curry posted about the deal on his Twitter account (with an impressive reference from The Office.)
