The Eagles appear to be a healthy group going into Sunday’s Week 1 matchup against the Jaguars.

The only players who did not participate in today’s practice were wide receiver Josh Huff (shoulder), offensive lineman Matt Tobin and cornerback Jaylen Watkins (hamstring).

If Huff can’t go Sunday, Nolan Carroll II will return kicks. Either Brad Smith or Jeff Maehl will be the fourth wide receiver behind Jeremy Maclin, Riley Cooper and Jordan Matthews.

Tobin had been pegged as the top reserve on the offensive line. If he can’t play, that spot will go to either Dennis Kelly or Andrew Gardner.

Watkins, meanwhile, was unlikely to dress even if he were healthy.

Also listed on the injury report, but as full participants, were: Cooper (ankle), running back Chris Polk (hamstring) and Brad Smith (groin).

I can’t wait for Sunday!! It’s hard being a Eagles fan living in Seattle, i am tired of hearing about the Seahawks

    • DmanPhilly

Only thing worse would be living in Dallas in the 90s.

      • Bert’s Bells

Living in Dallas is ALWAYS worse than living in Seattle.

        • cdot

Well good thing i’ve never lived in Dalls

        • Eagles4Life

I feel your pain. I’ve lived in Connecticut the last 14 years and have had to deal with multiple SB wins by both the Giants and Pats. I have been in the Seventh Circle of Football Hell.

      • George

I’m from CT too, and my buddy is an obnoxiously big pats fan. it has gotten bad in the past.

      • Wilbert31

I honestly think I’d move. Feel for you!

I live in CT too and am a diehard Eagles fan I feel your pain! Can’t wait until we finally win the big one!

  • DoctorRick

Can’t help you cdot. My teams are Eagles and ‘Hawks. Right now I am watching the ‘Hawks and Packers game and watching tempo, zone reads and seeing the influence of Coach Kelly.
I am looking forward to the Dec 7 game, will be wearing Green.

  • DoctorRick

    ‘Hawks -Packers
Not being called very tight for Defensive Pass Interference.

    • NickS, Combine Warrior

      Not at all.

  • DoctorRick

Jordy Nelson getting away with Offensive Pass Int.
I think we are seeing the trend, regression to the mean.

    Saw it twice.

Eagles/Jaguars Injury report right? So why not tell us about the Jaguars injuries also?

  • Piatz1019

Did anyone else get annoyed when Colinsworth kept crediting Auburn with the invention of a read option with a pass included? He said it like 4 times and it was driving me nuts!

    • NickS, Combine Warrior

      Yeah, that was pretty annoying.

      • Piatz1019

Then again, EVERYTHING Colinsworth says nowadays annoys me haha. He used to be a decent announcer when he was with Fox early on

        • NickS, Combine Warrior

The networks really have no clue how tiring these guys get after a few years. Or they don’t care because we still watch. Now I’m just not sure.

    • Andy Six Score and Four

      War Eagle! ;)

      • Piatz1019

        Roll Tide Roll!

  • DC

Good Morning! No wake-up call today? Hope the rest of my day isn’t this disappointing.

    • NickS, Combine Warrior

Right?! Are Sheil and Tim hungover from celebrating the official return of the regular season?

  • Tom w

Any idea what kind of shoulder injury huff has?? Separation? Sprain? Rotator cuff? How long will he be out. When will he return to practice.

  • PatrickVoltage

So I guess it’s safe to say that Jordan Matthews (Pope) has overtaken Brad Smith as our starting slot receiver? Did Smith’s injury allow for a quicker transition? Usually roster battles like this have a bit more coverage. I understand we’ll probably be running more 12 personnel with Ertz coming on strong but Matthews will still see a lot of snaps in 11.
