If summer’s busy pace — trips down the Shore, extra carpooling for the kids and weekend barbecues — have left you feeling all but relaxed, take some time to unwind and reboot at Philly’s Biggest Yoga Event: … Breathe … Sweat … Transform. More than 500 yogis are expected to flex, stretch and tone at this serious meditation session. Lead by yoga guru Sid McNairy of the I Do Yoga program in Towson, Maryland — along with 11 other expert instructors — this full-day event is highlighted by two two-hour yoga workouts in styles such as Ashtanga, power yoga and Viniyoga. Whether you're an expert at saying “Om! Shanti!” or have no clue what those words mean, stay calm: this festival is designed for all. When you’re not flexing and bending, enjoy lunch, ask away at an in-depth Q&A with the instructors and browse information booths from the area's top yoga studios and vendors.
