For Your Wife

You pick your fabric, the incredible (and brand-new) Co-Lab duo will craft you an awesome bench. We love the colorful, pattern-happy mix of Hable Construction textiles they used to create this one-of-a-kind upholstered X-bench. Our tip to you? Give them your favorite colors and patterns, and let them surprise you with an expertly crafted piece.

Custom X-bench upholstered in Hable Construction fabric by Co-Lab, $1,500 at Chairloom, 38 Rittenhouse Place, Ardmore,914-484-5498.

Kendra Brill’s Old City pop-up shop, Kendra, offers a beautifully-crafted capsule collection of modern, sophisticated separates, most of which are made of so-soft cashmere. We adore this knee-length skirt with buckle details. The bold color makes it fresh; the tailored-to-you fit makes it classic.

Kendra coral cashmere skirt, $355, both at Kendra, 54 North 3rd Street, 609-410-7622.

Men: You can’t go wrong with gorgeous baubles. We’re partial to these statement-making emerald earrings, which are lined on the sides with round-cut diamonds, so they’re stunning from all angles. But a warning: If you get her these, good luck topping yourself next year. (Or ever.)

Earrings with Asscher-cut diamonds set in platinum and certified natural emeralds set in 18-karat yellow gold, bordered with round-cut diamonds, $240,000 at Craiger Drake Designs, 1616 Walnut Street, suite 900, 215-253-6507.

Giving a Love ‘n Fresh Flowers CSA share is a bit like wrapping up an entire English garden. (What is actually is: Locally and sustainably grown flowers, every month, from a Philadelphia urban farm, available for pick-up at designated locations throughout the city.) So basically, you’re giving her a bouquet of flowers a week— and who wouldn’t love that?

Shares available for four to 16 weeks, with weekly pickups in West Philly, Mount Airy, Chestnut Hill, Northern Liberties and Roxborough. Prices range from $45 to $400 and include flowers in a three-gallon or six-quart bucket, or one hand-tied bouquet.

It’s the must-have accessory of the season: A fabulous clutch. Our favorite version is this sparkly chevron envelope clutch. Its allover beading makes it striking, and we love the shape and size (small enough to carry around all night; large enough to stow all the basics.)

Elaine Turner Bella envelope clutch, $175 at Vivi G. Shoes, Eagle Village Shops, 503 West Lancaster Avenue, Wayne, 610-688-6732, and Glen Eagle Square, 587 Wilmington-West Chester Pike, Glen Mills, 610-459-5848.

She probably won’t go for massive black speakers (save those for your man room), but we think anyone would drool over this old world/new technology hybrid.

iVictrola, $798 at Anthropologie, multiple locations.
