Jamie Hollander graduated from the Culinary Institute of American, and soon was running a successful restaurant in Doylestown PA, in a historic building he restored. Jamie opened a Gourmet Foods store in New Hope in 2007, and quickly evolved to preparing food for at-home parties and then weddings and larger events. Our focus is on serving the freshest, most delicious food using local ingredients whenever possible. Our event staff is highly experienced and professional, with expert planners for each venue and the knowledge to handle any hiccups that arise during an event.

Services you offer:

We create custom events our exclusive venues (Glen Foerd, Bartram's Garden, Pearl S. Buck Estate), and at off-premise and private locations in the Delaware Valley. We're known for our impeccable, full-service catering and outstanding food guests consistently rave about. Our expert planners are included in our package cost and work tirelessly to bring couples' wedding visions to life. We work closely with clients throughout the planning process, with clear communication and respectful response times. Packages for plated dinners or stations include an elegant cocktail hour, dinner, and classic desserts with a twist. All non-alcoholic beverages, bar mixers, and bar fruit are also included. Essentials such as linens, fine white china, flatware, and glassware are included, to offer a complete event package with clear, up-front pricing. Vendor coordination, setup, service and breakdown are also included. Both couples and guests will be able to enjoy the celebration knowing everything will be taken care of, down to the last detail.

What is your typical process for working with a new client?

We send clear package information via email, meet to offer venue tours, follow a consistent and clear contract process. We'll discuss visions for the event and help guide clients toward that vision according to their budget and needs, working and coordinating with outside vendors whenever needed. We offer complementary tastings for up to four people to help hone the custom menu, communicating throughout the planning process in a timely manner. Closer to the event date we do a full walk-through and go over the detailed timeline. Throughout the event a dedicated and experienced coordinator is on-site to help with every aspect of the event, at the end of the event we handle all cleanup, break-down and all other details for the clients. We go above and beyond to ensure the clients and their guests have a wonderful, memorable event.

What services are you most excited to offer?

We truly enjoy making each event seem like the only one on the planet at that time! We love working through custom menus, making sure the guests will feel like they've experienced a fine-dining meal to remember. We work to incorporate special touches throughout - whether it's local produce or ingredients, or seamlessly adjusting for changes in the weather. We constantly rely on our experience but also feel like every event is a new and exciting challenge. We plan everything as if our own family and friends are on the guest list.

Our planners and staff will not be out-worked by anyone. They are diligent, attentive, creative and expert problem-solvers, able to foresee issues and address needs before the clients or guests think of them. We take no shortcuts on food - we prepare everything on-site for a truly remarkable, restaurant-quality experience.

Bartram's Garden - Hidden Gem
We looked at dozens of venues in PA and New England before we settled on Bartram's. In terms of beauty and value, nowhere else could compete. It's also a unique venue. Many of our guests who are long-time Philadelphia residents had never been there. Everyone was absolutely blown away by our secret garden oasis. Our guests loved exploring the grounds and getting into the history of the place. The team at Jamie Hollander was also so great to work with and really delivered the day of our wedding. The food was plentiful and delicious, I did not stress about timeline or coordination once, and the service was A+. We had multiple guests tell us how great their server was at dinner, which I think is pretty special. They know the space inside and out and can execute weddings flawlessly, which is one of the biggest benefits of going with this venue. We also can't thank our event planner Kelly enough. She really brought every single one of our wishes and dreams to life.
