A George School education is designed to open intellectual and creative doors and keep them open. Our academic program lets students chart their own path—one that is as challenging as it is customized to them.
George School offers more than 150 courses in a modular schedule format, allowing students to choose the path to graduation that suits their passions and curiosity best. This might include an IB Diploma, AP credits, a sampling of subjects that interest them, and/or an in-depth exploration of a single field, and academic year study abroad opportunities. With the help of seasoned advisors, students will create a course of study and academic inquiry that sets them up for the future in the best way possible.
With Quaker tradition as its touchstone and academic excellence at its core, George School seeks to develop citizen scholars cheerfully committed to openness in the pursuit of truth, to service and peace, and to the faithful stewardship of the earth. We want our students to treasure learning for its own sake and to use it to benefit a diverse world. Above all, we want them to “let their lives speak.”
