What is your typical process for working with a new client?
Our process begins with listening. Early conversations focus on understanding how our clients live—their routines, priorities, and aspirations—alongside a careful reading of the site and existing conditions. Design develops through an iterative process of study, dialogue, and refinement, with clients engaged at each stage. Rather than presenting a predetermined solution, we explore ideas together and shape decisions collaboratively, allowing the architecture to emerge gradually in response to program, place, and the evolving goals of the project. As a small practice, the partners remain closely involved throughout design and construction, ensuring continuity and thoughtful attention from the earliest studies through completion.
