Studio IQL is a full-service design collaborative based in our renovated 1890s church in Philadelphia. We design residential, commercial, and hospitality spaces that feel personal and alive. Every project begins with conversation, then we build a custom team from our trusted network of designers, architects, fabricators, and artists. Whether it’s a full renovation or a focused refresh, we prioritize authenticity, collaboration, and meaningful design that feels personal and enduring.

What is your typical process for working with a new client?

At Studio IQL, our process begins with listening. We meet clients where they are, whether they need a complete renovation or guidance on specific design decisions. Through detailed conversations, we uncover their needs, preferences, and unique stories. From there, we craft a personalized design vision and assemble a collaborative team of experts. Each phase - planning, design, and execution - is guided by transparency, care, and craftsmanship, ensuring the final result is both functional and meaningful.

What inspired your passion for your profession?

Our passion stems from the power of design to create connection and harmony. The spaces we live and work in shape how we feel, interact, and move through the world. For us, design is never just about aesthetics; it’s about storytelling, honoring individuality, and creating experiences that resonate. The joy of translating a client’s identity into a tangible, beautifully crafted environment is what keeps us inspired.
