What is your typical process for working with a new client?

The MDH Designs Client Journey

1. Initial Consultation
We start with an in-home or virtual consultation to learn about your space, goals, lifestyle, and design preferences. This is a collaborative conversation where we assess the scope of the project and discuss budget and timeline.

2. Design Proposal & Agreement
Following the consultation, we provide a custom proposal outlining the scope of work, design services, estimated fees, and next steps. Once approved, we move forward with a signed agreement.

3. Concept Development
We create mood boards, floor plans, color schemes, and material selections to bring your vision to life. You’ll receive visual presentations to help you see the direction of the design.

4. Design Execution
We coordinate all aspects of the project — from ordering furnishings and finishes to working alongside contractors and trades. Our team ensures that the design is executed smoothly and professionally.

5. Installation & Styling
Once all elements are in place, we complete the finishing touches — arranging furniture, installing accessories, and adding final details that bring the entire space together.

6. Final Walkthrough
We review the completed space with you to ensure everything exceeds expectations and address any final touches or tweaks needed.
