The Sixers announced that they will work out an additional six players tomorrow at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, a group which includes St. Joseph’s forward Isaiah Miles.

The full list is as follows:

Taurean Prince (Baylor)
Fred VanVleet (Wichita State)
Maodo Lo (Columbia)
Isaiah Miles (St. Joseph’s)
Winston Shepard (San Diego State)
Jaron Blossomgame (Clemson)

In terms of high level prospects, Taurean Prince and Jaron Blossomgame are perhaps the most interesting. Prince is a combo-forward who has some defensive versatility and the ability to be effective as a catch-and-shoot player on the perimeter. Prince averaged 15.9 points, 6.1 rebounds, and 2.3 assists per game as a senior for Baylor this season. Prince is projected as a first round pick.

Jaron Blossomgame is a prospect whose game has really, ahem, blossomed over the last two seasons at Clemson, averaging a career-best 18.7 points, 6.7 rebounds, and 1.5 assists per game as a junior. The most important development in Blossomgame’s game has been his development as a three-point shooter. After shooting just 24.8 percent from three-point range over his first two seasons at Clemson, Blossomgame shot 44.1 percent as a junior. That shooting will be key for the 6’7″ forward.

Fred VanVleet averaged 12.2 points, 5.5 assists, and 1.8 steals per game as a senior at Wichita State, shooting 38.1 percent from three-point range, although he struggled inside the arc, connecting on just 39.6 percent of his two-point shots. Measuring at just 6’1″ in shoes, VanVleet may struggle to overcome his size, especially since he’s not an elite athlete.

From a local perspective, St. Joseph’s forward Isaiah Miles improved greatly over the past two seasons for Phil Martelli. Miles, who averaged just 5.1 and 9.3 minutes per game during his freshman and sophomore seasons, respectively, averaged 18.1 points per game this season for coach Martelli, the leading scorer on St. Joseph’s squad. Miles shot 38.5 percent from three-point range and added 8.1 rebounds per contest, helping lead the Hawks back to the NCAA tournament.
