Leno Blasts Comcast. In response to recent layoffs at The Tonight Show, Jay Leno took aim at Comcast in his Monday night monologue saying, “I knew something was going on. Friday morning I woke up and there was a peacock head in my bed.” [Hollywood Reporter]

Rosie Had a Heart Attack. Rosie O’Donnell recently suffered a heart attack. The 50-year-old actress/talk show host said that she experienced a number of heart attack symptoms after helping a woman who was struggling to get out of her car. Pink, Taylor Swift on Storytellers. Pennsylvania natives Taylor Swift and Pink have been booked for episodes of VH1 Storytellers. The show features musicians in an intimate setting playing live music and talking about their songs and the creative process. Swift’s episode premieres on November 11th. Lauryn Hill Turns Down Oprah. Lauryn Hill—the R&B singer who is in trouble in Jersey for allegedly not paying taxes in 2005-2007 and faces possible jail time—supposedly turned down an interview request when Oprah asked her to appear on Oprah’s Next Chapter. [BET]

NBC Orders Michael J. Fox Series. NBC has given a straight-to-series order for a new Michael J. Fox vehicle with the Arrested Development writer attached to the project. The show will be semi-autobiographical and will feature Fox as the lead character who handles his family and career while living in New York and battling Parkinson’s disease. [Hollywood Reporter]
