Fergie’s Is Throwing a Party for Its 23rd Anniversary

And to celebrate the end of construction next to the pub on Sansom Street.

Fergie’s Pub, one of Philly’s great bars, has been around for 23 boozy years. To celebrate, they’re throwing a party and debuting some new happy hour specials and a refreshed menu.

But the anniversary isn’t all owner Fergus Carey and his team are celebrating: the party also marks the end of the construction on the 1200 block of Sansom that’s all but surrounded the bar for the past…well, further back than we can remember.

On Monday, November 27th, Fergie’s will mark the occasion with a new happy hour from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m., featuring $5 bar snacks and $1 off draft beers and house wines. Next, there’s a performance by jazz saxophonist Victor North and Three Blind Mice (the pub’s traditional birthday celebration booking) from 7 p.m. until 10 p.m., with live band karaoke starting at 10 p.m.

The kitchen has also revamped the menu and will introduce some new items as well as tweaking mainstays like their shepherd’s pie. Check out the menu additions below.
