An Update on Morgan’s Pier

Scallops w/ tomatillo + blueberry

Last night we chatted with George Sabatino about his ambitious plans for Morgan’s Pier. There will be at least three menus for the 300+ seat space. The standard menu which will feature the burger dropped in liquid nitrogen (served on a Martin’s potato roll) plus a more ambitious menu that will be available in the newly carved out 80-seat restaurant area. There will also be a kids menu that will include a healthy fruit salad side for the youngsters.

Sabatino has hired 19 line cooks and puts them to the test in early May. Morgan’s Pier will open to the public on Thursday, May 9th.

I don’t get it… the place was already beginning to lean from hipster to douchy… both are crowds not known for caring about the finer things in life and also not willing to pay for them
