Water Main Break Hits Graduate Hospital, South Philly Hard

Here’s a photo of a water rescue at 21st and South in front of the Ten Stone Bar taken from the Beauty Shop Cafe’s Twitter feed last night. A water main break at 21st and Bainbridge knocked out water for much of Center City and South Philadelphia, forcing bars and restaurants to close early and leading to a huge clean-up this morning. In the bar and restaurant world it looked like Ten Stone, LaVa coffee shop and Roberto Cafe were hit the hardest.
