Friday
The weather is beautiful and you will be seeking an outdoor spot after work. if you’re heading towards the 13th Street corridor consider the courtyard at Raw, the roof deck at the Corner or the Graffiti Bar at Sampan.
Saturday
At La Colombe off Rittenhouse Square will be raising money for PAWS all day. All of the day’s proceeds plus a matching donation from La Colombe will go to support PAWS’ lifesaving efforts. Adoptable PAWS dogs and cats will be on hand at the shop
Food for Thought is this Saturday at Urban Outfitters headquarters in the Navy Yard. A who’s who of Philadelphia’s top chefs including Marc Vetri, Chip Roman, Marci Turney and Michael Solomonov will be on hand. Tickets are $150 to $500 and benefit ACHIEVEability, a non-profit dedicated to breaking the cycle of poverty.
Sunday
Marathon’s 10th and Walnut location will be hosting a FarmRaiser event for Marathon’s urban farm. The event starts at 7pm and a $10 donation at the door benefits the farm. There will also be deals inside, $5 Penn 1681 drinks along with free Carolina style barbecue pork, coleslaw, potato salad and more.
