For the Italians, happy hour serves a purpose beyond unwinding after work. It is, of course, about eating (well, in this case, preparing to eat). They drink aperitivi — pre-dinner cocktails — to stimulate the palate before a meal. Rustic Northern Italian spot Restaurant Alba in Malvern is adding this philosophy to its happy hour. Every Wednesday from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Alongside the cocktails (we hope there’s Campari), Chef Sean Weinberg will offer bites like grilled flatbreads, charcuterie, and fritti misti.
