Delaware Valley Friends School (DVFriends) transforms education for bright students who learn differently. Serving grades 1–12, DVFriends offers a dynamic, student-centered program in a diverse, inclusive Quaker community where every learner is known, valued, and empowered. Our expert educators specialize in teaching students with language-based learning differences such as dyslexia, dysgraphia, and ADHD. Using research-based, multisensory methods, they tailor instruction to individual needs while fostering confidence, independence, and a love of learning. At DVFriends, teachers partner closely with families to build trust, accountability, and the resilience students need to succeed—in school, in college, and in life.
At DVFriends, students explore a rich array of experiences in the arts, inclusive athletics, student-led clubs, service learning, outdoor adventures, and travel.

DVFriends delivers a dynamic, student-centered education designed for learners with language-based learning differences. Grounded in evidence-based, multisensory instruction, our program builds core academic and executive functioning skills while empowering students to become confident, independent learners. Students engage in a vibrant array of arts, athletics, service, leadership, and experiential learning—supported by a close-knit, inclusive community rooted in Quaker values.
What is your mission statement?
The mission of Delaware Valley Friends School is to prepare students with learning differences for future work and study.
The school develops those personal strengths which enable students to succeed in its college preparatory curriculum. The school also recognizes that it has a responsibility to share its expertise with teachers and students beyond the school community.
