Trained at Stanford University, Dr. Alan Brackup was the first oculofacial plastic surgeon in the U.S. board certified in both ophthalmology and cosmetic surgery. Dr. Brackup limits his practice to cosmetic plastic surgery of the eyes, face and neck. He is an assistant clinical professor at the University of Pennsylvania and remains active in academic medicine teaching both oculoplastics and facial plastic surgery fellows.
Dr. Brackup is the author of numerous peer-reviewed publications and book chapters in his field and continues to contribute to advance the speciality. He is a frequent invited speaker at plastic surgery conferences nationwide, reflecting his recognized expertise.
