Tart (not sweet) frozen yogurt — the wildly popular trend pioneered by the California-based Pinkberry chain — has finally found its way to Philly with Phileo. This brightly colored South Street storefront might evoke Pinkberry with its design, logo and tangy frozen dessert, but Phileo puts its own twist on the genre with a self-service bank of soft-serve dispensers and a DIY toppings bar.

Phileo is by far the BEST!!!! Love the ever changing flavors, the friendly staff, and the clean environment. Phileo has made a lasting impression on everyone I know - all along the East and West Coast!

Pinkberry emulated the successof Red Mango in Korea and brought the Italian froyo powder mix from Korea, thus Pinkberry was born. A copycat of the real pioneers Red Mango.
