Profile

A top destination for the city’s serious beer drinkers, Monk’s boasts an impressive—and well-worn—multi-page beer list. Almost always on tap: the bar’s highly drinkable Flemish Sour ale, custom-brewed for Monk’s in Belgium. To go with the beer, there are sizeable pots of beer-steamed mussels and the bar’s popular burgers and fries.

We went to Monk's for New Years Eve, what a great way to bring in the new year! They expertly pair some incredible brews perfectly with a delicious six course meal. It was a bit pricey at $125/person, but it was such an amazing experience! I would highly recommend Monk's to anyone who loves great beer and good food.

Monk's is worth the nearly hour drive from South Jersey. I'm originally from Brussels and having draft Chimay and a pot of mussles and frites holds me over till my bi-annual visits to Belgium. We go in late afternoon to avoid waiting and are never disappointed!
