Dr. Shannon Alexa is an accomplished OB/GYN with a specialization in Reproductive Endocrinology and a deep commitment to advancing fertility medicine. She received her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the University of New England’s College of Osteopathic Medicine, where her outstanding academic achievements and dedication to patient care earned her numerous awards and certifications. Now a vital member of the Main Line Fertility team, Dr. Alexa collaborates closely with a renowned group of specialists to diagnose, treat, and support patients facing complex women’s health and infertility issues.
Driven by a passion for family-building, Dr. Alexa views fertility medicine as a field of continual progress and hope.

Outside the clinic, Dr. Alexa resides in New Jersey with her family and their three beloved dogs. When not traveling, she finds solace in her garden, cultivating a life that mirrors her nurturing approach to her work and patients.

Main Line Fertility, the leading fertility center in the Philadelphia, Main Line, and South Jersey areas, helps individuals and couples achieve their family-building goals. Our award-winning reproductive endocrinologists provide multiple infertility treatments, like intrauterine insemination, and in vitro fertilization (IVF). We offer fertility preservation options, like egg freezing and sperm freezing, as well as oncofertility services. For LGBTQ+ fertility, we provide an inclusive, compassionate support system and a full range of treatment options. We also offer third-party reproduction methods, including gestational surrogacy and egg donation. Additionally, we provide genetic testing, including AMH or PGT testing, and wellness programs, like fertility nutrition.
