The Hotel Sylvania; built in 1923 as one of the first high-rise French inspired hotels in Philadelphia. Now the Arts Ballroom; capturing the excitement and elegance of a bygone era; it was developed as an ode to the timeless classic gala. The grandeur of the ballroom entices the mystery of parties held during the prohibition era and is now a beautiful setting for life's feature occasions. Located in the Avenue of the Arts; blocks from city hall and the convention center; the Arts Ballroom is a hidden gem amongst Philadelphia's most distinguished institutions dedicated to arts; culture and entertainment. This landmark destination is nestled within the Arts Condominium; offering a private setting for a wide array of special events and distinguished guests.  Our floorplan boasts a magnificent Grand Hall; signature granite staircase; mirrored Sylvania room with a back-lit marble bar; lounge & mezzanine overlooking the venue. The Arts Ballroom is a one ballroom house that hosts one event at a time providing clients with a sense of exclusivity and customizable 10;000 square foot space caters best to events from 100-450 guests. Philadelphia's premier special events venue launched in 2012 to provide venue facility needs for the wedding; special event; fundraising and corporate market.  Packages offered are all-inclusive; providing venue space; in-house catering; a top-shelf bar; staff; custom lighting; tables; chairs; linens and more!
