Porch & Pearls is a professional full-service wedding and event planning company dedicated to once-in-a-lifetime celebrations. Our team prides itself on guiding every couple toward defining their vision, expressing their personal style, telling their own beautiful love story, and creating a personalized wedding event that may last only one day, but will leave memories that last forever.

Working with Marian was an absolute pleasure! I was originally on the fence about whether I’d need a Day of Coordinator, but having Marian’s support during the month of, and ESPECIALLY during the day of, was one of the best decisions I made. She is extremely knowledgeable about everything wedding-related, and helped me and my fiancé get organized around every last detail leading up to the big day (including a number of details we had not thought of on our own). And without being prompted, she reached out to our vendors in the week leading up to the event to ensure that everyone was on the same page about the final game plan. In addition, I was especially impressed with Marian when she helped us design and print our ceremony programs and seating chart. I admittedly waited much longer than I should have to order these items. When I asked Marian for help, she immediately eased my stress and told me that she was happy to create the designs. She was quick to turn around drafts, and despite the fact that we were cutting it close to the deadline, she went above and beyond in making sure everything got done on time for the wedding day (she even called the Printer after submitting our final versions to 100% confirm). Having Marian’s support truly felt like we had a wedding fairy godmother. On the day of, she hustled in making sure that *everything* got handled in the background, making things so much easier for me and my family. My bridesmaids and parents couldn’t believe how helpful she was. She took care of so many things, and I’m probably not even aware of most of them. Just to name a few: she handled all of our day-of vendor communication and last minute decisions, she helped our florist with setting up, she helped bustle my dress when no one else could figure out how, she ensured that my mom’s printed speech was waiting for her at her dinner table seat, and she packed up all of my belongings from the reception venue and had them waiting for me when I was ready to leave. She was always there when someone needed her. I don’t know how she works her magic, but what I can say is that she gets stuff done, and she would make an incredible asset to any couple’s wedding team! I don’t want to imagine what my day would have been like without her help. Marian – my sincerest thanks for all your hard work and support in making sure that we had the perfect day! I owe Marian all the credit for being able to spend 3 and a half hours on the dance floor at my own wedding and thoroughly enjoy myself! I didn’t have to worry about a dang thing and that was the best wedding gift I could have been given! From the first check in with Marian, I knew this was the best decision I had made regarding the Wedding. She asked me questions about details that I didn’t even know I needed to think about. She kept me on track and made sure I had everything organized and planned out. When it came to the day of, she was on it from the moment she arrived. She allowed me and my family to step back and spend the morning relaxing and getting ready. I had every confidence that she knew what I wanted, and she did. I cried when I stepped into the venue because it turned into everything I could have ever dreamed. Choosing a venue that is a blank canvas that you have to fill yourself is challenging, and if I didn’t have Marian, there would have been no way that everything would have gotten done and looked as picture perfect as it did! She was there to get all the vendors set, she knew what was supposed to happen when and made sure that it happened on time. There could have been things that went wrong, but guess what: I WILL NEVER KNOW, BECAUSE SHE HANDLED IT! And that is AMAZING! She was even able to track down my social butterfly of a Dad who kept disappearing when we needed him (that is a full time job in itself). I had the most perfect, carefree and FUN day and I owe that to Marian. She took my vision and made it reality without me having to be present! Choosing Marian as my day-of coordinator was one of the best decisions I made for my wedding. My husband and I did not choose the easiest venue to work with, but Marian took on the challenge and helped us every step of the way. I knew that if I was struggling with anything or had any questions, she was only a text or a phone call away and was right on the task stat. It was such a relief knowing that I had nothing to worry about on the day of my wedding because I had her. If anything went wrong, she was there to take care of it. Porch & Pearls founder, Marian Braccia, is a powerful, intuitive, and creative planner and businesswoman. A native Philadelphian, Marian is no stranger to city living, working, and planning. After majoring in Urban Studies at the University of Pennsylvania, she earned her J.D. at Temple Law. Having practiced law for twelve years, Marian brings her negotiation, advocacy, quick thinking, and tactful problem solving skills to every event she handles.

What services are you most excited to offer?

We serve busy couples with high standards and an expectation of excellence. Our couples rave about us because we know what it’s like to need an answer immediately, to be a little obsessed with spreadsheets, to love lists, and to be so head-over-heels in love that it just makes sense to throw a great party and profess that to the world. And we do it all with humor, spunk, and precision.

What advice would you give a customer looking to find a provider in your specialty?

Don’t forget that a wedding is about two people taking a vow to love, cherish, and respect each other. It’s a beautiful and monumental commitment that not every person will experience. Remember, that commitment is the wedding. The rest is just a party. Don’t lose sight of the significance of what you’re doing when you walk down that aisle. Joining your life to someone else’s shouldn’t just be about being #pinterestworthy
