Watch Back to the Future with Christopher Lloyd

Plus more movies to check out this week, most likely without Christopher Lloyd.

Christopher Lloyd Goes Back to the Future @ Keswick Theatre | Saturday, September 24
Head to the Keswick to watch Back to the Future on the big screen and hear stories straight from Doc Brown himself about making the movie and working with Michael J. Fox/Marty McFly and director Steven Spielberg. There will be a Q&A, so come prepared with your most pressing time travel questions.

Raiders!: The Story of the Greatest Fan Film Ever Made @ Bryn Mawr Film Institute | Thursday, September 22
This double bill at the Bryn Mawr Film Institute puts the focus on the fans. Raiders of the Lost Ark: The Adaptation is a shot-for-shot remake of the Indiana Jones adventure — but filmed by three very devoted 11 year olds. They got every scene, over seven summers of shooting, except the exploding airplane. More than 20 years later, the three met up with their original cast to finish the movie. Raiders!: The Story of the Greatest Fan Film Ever Made is a documentary about the making of the adaptation. Got it? Filmmaker Eric Zala will do a Q&A after the screening.

The Princess Bride @ Ritz at the Bourse | Friday, September 23
Next up in the Midnight Madness series is the best movie ever, and I will tolerate no dissent.

Private Property @ International House | Friday, September 23
I-House is screening a newly restored version of the once-lost Private Property, a 1960 film noir set in Southern California with Warren Oates (The Wild Bunch) and Corey Allen (Rebel Without a Cause).

Time Bandits @ The Colonial Theatre | Saturday, September 24
The Phoenixville theater from The Blob is showing Terry Gilliam’s digitally restored fantasy tale of inadvertent time travelers, with fellow Monty Python folks John Cleese and Michael Palin, plus Sean Connery and Shelley Duvall.
