WATCH: Courtside at 76ers Game, Meek Mill Dodges Drake Question

When asked about Drake, Meek Mill responded: "I'm riding with Philly, you know, and Philly riding with me so I'm riding with the Sixers to the fullest."

The Sixers lost to LeBron James and the Cavaliers last night, as expected. But Philly rapper Meek Mill was courtside, and sideline reporter Molly French got a few moments with him as the Sixers played what one might charitably call basketball. (Actually, they led by 14 after a quarter and played relatively well last night!)

French didn’t dance around the topic. There’s only one thing we want to know from Meek Mill, and it’s whether he’s ever going to have a good response to the “Charged Up”/”Back to Back” diss tracks from Drake. He tried with “Wanna Know,” but it didn’t really hit. In fact, he’s removed it from Soundcloud.

The feud started when Drake didn’t tweet about “R.I.C.O.,” the song where he’s featured on Meek’s latest album. Then Meek accused him of not writing his own raps. After the diss tracks — a part of the feud Drake most definitely won — Meek said he’s done beefing with Drake. (How gracious of him.)

But he still managed to make fun of Drake’s “Hotline Bling” dance last month at a performance in Philly. And at the Sixers game last night, he was asked about Drake. This was his response:

“I’m riding with Philly, you know, and Philly riding with me so I’m riding with the Sixers to the fullest. You know what time it is I’m rocking out to the end no matter how the season go.”

Okay, so that’s not answering the question. Which is fine! He obviously doesn’t want to talk about Drake. But maybe give us something. Talk about your favorite ducks when asked about Drake! Mention your favorite facts about Canada. Or, I dunno, just rep the Sixers, I guess that’s okay too.

Meek did later add, nearly unprompted, that Crabfries™ were “my favorite.”
