SEPTA Increasing Train Service for Made in America

Center City will be a mess this weekend, with thousands of revelers heading to the Parkway for the 2015 Made in America Festival, which takes place on Saturday and Sunday. To keep things running as smoothly as possible, SEPTA has announced it will increase train and rail service throughout the weekend. They’ve also released information about any interrupted routes so you don’t get on a detoured bus.
The Broad Street and Market-Frankford lines will operate every 5 minutes on Saturday and Sunday beginning at noon. There will be additional trains operating from Center City when the concert ends. As usual, the Broad Street and Market Frankford lines will offer overnight service on Saturday.
Regional Rail riders will get additional late-night train service on Saturday and Sunday on trains departing from Jefferson, Suburban and 30th Street stations. You can see the special MIA schedules here.
The buses is where it gets a little tricky. Take note: Because of festival-related street closures, there will be detours on Parkway-serving routes 7, 32, 33, 38, 43, and 48 starting at 10 am on Friday and lasting through 5 am on Monday. Find out about specific route changes here.
Will you show up to the show like a boss on the trolley? Routes 10, 11, 13, 15, 34, and 36 will get extra evening routes for service to and from the concert. Ding-ding!
