Mystery Man Giving Out $100 Bills Around Philly
It almost sounds too good to be true: Correctly identify a Philly picture on Instagram, show up to the location of the shot, and win $100. But, it’s become something of a deliberate cat and mouse game throughout the city, and one mystery man, who goes simply by FindMePhilly on both Twitter and Instagram, is behind the game and proving he’s not stingy by posting videos of those lucky winners who have new crisp Ben Franklins in their hands.
In a nutshell, here’s how the game works: FindMePhilly posts a picture on his Instagram and Twitter accounts of a Philadelphia location. Those who follow him have 13 minutes to try and track him down at that locale. If they do, they get $100, like this guy below who plans to buy 20 pieces of pizza with his cash:

Of course, this raises an interesting question, but I’ll let “Dan,” someone who commented on FindMePhilly’s webpage, ask it:
There’s a full list of winners posted here, and it seems like FindMePhilly isn’t just content with giving out $100 bills, either: He recently posted the following status on Twitter:
I want to give away a million dollars in Philly someday to a complete stranger. I need help making it happen. LFG. #FindMePhilly

If that doesn’t motive you to start “following” FindMePhilly, I don’t know what will. Check the account on Twitter @FindMePhilly and via Instagram @findmephilly. And may the best man (or woman) win!
