Kathryn Hahn to Star in M. Night Shyamalan’s Locally Shot Sundowning

We have a little more information about M. Night Shyamalan’s Sundowning — the director’s “microfilm” we reported he was shooting on the outskirts of Philly last month. Apparently the film will star Kathryn Hahn, the actress who’s played small but hilarious roles in films and TV shows like We’re the Millers and Parks and Recreation.

The plot is still somewhat of a secret, but The Wrap reports that Hahn will play a single mother whose children go to visit their grandparents, “and then things go very wrong.” The blog offers a hint at the storyline in the definition of “sundowning,” which is “described as a psychological phenomenon associated with increased confusion and restlessness in patients with some form of dementia. Symptoms also include agitation and mood swings.”

Production has apparently nearly wrapped up here in Pennsylvania, so we should know something more soon.
