Legendary Broadway Stars Coming to the Prince in New Cabaret Series
Life is a cabaret, old chum.
No, Liza won’t be there, but a host of talented performers from Broadway and beyond will grace the Prince Theater’s cabaret space, the Rrazz Room, for a delectable season of song, dance, and plenty of entertainment. The Prince’s Rrazz Room is programmed by the same gurus who operate the famous Florida establishments of the same name, and the upcoming fall schedule has something for just about everyone.
Some highlights include:
Karen Mason, who originated the role of Tanya in Broadway’s Mamma Mia! and performed as Norma Desmond in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Sunset Boulevard.
The multi-talented Charles Busch, who has written, directed, and performed in dozens of theatrical, television, and cabaret works, including Oz and The Tale of the Allergist’s Wife.
Tommy Tune, winner of the Tony Award’s Lifetime Achievement Award, who has directed and choreographed hits such as The Will Rogers Follies, My One and Only, and Grand Hotel.
Golden Globe and Tony winner Linda Lavin, who starred in Gypsy and Alice, will be joined by the epic Billy Stritch.
Grammy-nominated Maureen McGovern, who starred in Broadway productions of Little Women, Three Penny Opera, and The King and I.
