This week, King of Prussia Business Improvement District relaunched a summertime arts initiative that gives locals something unique to do at lunchtime. Rock Your Lunch! is a free summer concert series that aims to create a more vibrant community and celebrate the 15,000-plus employees working in the district (and just anyone who wants to come hear some good tunes).

Every Thursday in June from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm, locals can gather to enjoy live musical performances ranging from classic rock to reggae fusion. This summer’s lineup includes Rad & Kel, The Road Dogs, Element K. and Underwater Sounds.

Employees who don’t pack their lunch may indulge in free food samples from KOP vendors or pay $4 or less for freshly prepared lunch items from on-site caterers. These lunch deals will be offered from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

The district is also offering a Yoga Happy Hour every Tuesday in June and July at Maschellmac Office Complex. Yogis of all levels are invited to join outdoor classes led by instructors from KOP-based Stillpoint Yoga Studios. A full hour of sun salutations, chaturangas and downward dogs can stir up an appetite. When classes end participants can treat themselves to a buffet of organic foods and healthy snacks provided by Wegmans.
