Taylor Swift and Sam Smith Lead 2015 Billboard Music Awards Nominations

Wyomissing songstress Taylor Swift and British songbird Sam Smith lead the 2015 Billboard Music Award nominations, some of which were announced earlier today on Good Morning America.

Swift is up for the coveted Top Artist award, along with Sam Smith, Ariana Grande, One Direction and Katy Perry.

She also nominated for Top Billboard 200 Album, Top Female Artist and Top Hot 100 Song for her 1989 single “Shake It Off.”

Finalists in the remaining categories will be announced later tonight. You can catch the Billboard Music Awards on May 17th, when they air live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. Ludacris and Penn alum John Legend’s main squeeze Chrissy Teigen will host.
