Five Dollar Comedy Week
Today kicks off the start of Five Dollar Comedy Week: seven days and over 150 of Philly’s funniest comedians–with each show just five bucks a pop. Not bad right? If you want to catch a bunch of shows throughout the week, wristbands are available for only $25, granting you unlimited access to each performance, plus daily workshops. For a full lineup of shows, and to reserve tickets in advance, click here. Monday, August 25th-Sunday, August 31st, various times, Shubin Theatre, 407 Bainbridge Street.

Neighborhood Fringe Spotlight Series
It’s your last chance to preview the 2014 Fringe Festival before it begins. Tonight’s Neighborhood Fringe Scratch Night will feature five artists in 50 minutes, all excerpts from upcoming festival shows. The show is free–and there’s free beer, too. Yoga and a Movie
From Be Well Philly: Wednesday evening, Lululemon is hosting a free outdoor yoga class followed by a sunset showing of Mrs. Doubtfire. Yoga plus a billion belly-ache-inducing laughs equals the greatest core workout ever—am I right? The all-levels, hour-long class, taught by Colleen Sullivan of Verge Yoga, will kick off at at 6:30 p.m. outside of Radnor Middle School in Wayne. More here.

Dog Days of Summer
Hotel Monaco is celebrating National Dog Day this Tuesday with Dog Days of Summer–a special event for four-legged friends and their owners. While you enjoy a “Dogs & Suds” happy hour on the patio at Red Owl Tavern, your furry family member will be primped and pampered with a free dog wash from the team at Doggie Style. All washes are free, though donations are appreciated, as proceeds will benefit Operation Ava–a local no-kill shelter. Plus, adoptable pups will be on site for those in the market for a new best friend. Tuesday, August 26th, 5 p.m. - 8 p.m., Hotel Monaco, 433 Chestnut Street.

C. Wonder + Look Good Feel Better Benefit
Shop for an amazing cause this week: Retailer C. Wonder and Fashion Project, an online clothing donation and resale destination, are joining forces to benefit women with cancer. King of Prussia’s C. Wonder store will offer light bites, sips, and styling tips this Wednesday evening, with 10 percent of sales from purchases made donated to Look Good Feel Better, a program dedicated to helping women living with cancer improve their confidence and self-esteem. Attendees of the event will receive 20 percent off full priced purchases, as well as a free tote bag. For more information on how to get involved, click here. Wednesday, August 27th, 6 p.m. - 8 p.m., C. Wonder, 160 N. Gulph Road, King of Prussia, PA.

The Funk Show
Get funky at the Dell Music Center this Thursday, with an al fresco concert featuring the Bar-Kays, L.T.D., Glenn Jones, The Average White Band, and Larry Graham.
