AP reports that 41-year-old Kimberly Myers of Voorhees, N.J., will be awarded $1.4 million in damages after she had her collarbone and skull broken when the lead singer of the band Fishbone stage-dived on top of her at World Café Live in 2010.

The award includes $1.1 million in compensatory damages against lead singer Angelo “Dr. Madd Vibe” Moore and his band and business partner, bassist John Norwood Fisher. Moore will also have to fork over $250,000 in punitive damages.

The article states that the federal judge presiding over the case says Moore “has shown little remorse and hasn’t stopped stage-diving despite frequent injuries to concert-goers.”
